Tom Pelzer

My name is Tom Pelzer and I am a college student studying Business Management in the United States. I grew up in Germany, close to the Swiss border. My father taught me how to play football, and I quickly grew to love the sport. After completing high school in 2021, I knew I wanted to explore a new country, so I pursued my football and academic career in the United States.

Thanks to my background in football, which included playing for the academy of a 5th division team in Germany, involvement in several selective teams, and a trial at 1. FC Köln, I was able to attend Western Nebraska Community College from 2021 to 2023, where I served as captain of the soccer team and received several awards. I earned my Associate's Degree during my time there. In 2023, I transferred to Missouri Valley College, one of the country's top soccer programs. I plan to earn my Bachelor's degree in May 2025.

Since being in the US, I have developed a strong interest in the sports industry, specifically sports management and the general sports market. College life requires a lot of organization and planning, which I enjoy, and it has made me realize that managing goals is what I want to do later on. I have done a lot of research and gained valuable knowledge in the sports industry as I aim to create my own business.

To achieve this goal, I connected with my friend Ben, whom I have known since playing football in the early days. We share the same interests and careers and have decided to found our own Sports Consulting Business to help clubs and entities in the sports industry fulfill their potential and reach their goals both on and off the field.
